![]() ![]() In short the terms titleblock and template are not interchangeable. I always start with either acad.dwt or acadiso.dwt, (because I know it's clean) save_as to the name I want my template to be called, make sure I get all the above setup the way I like, then insert the titleblock set the limits and voila. The value of a template is what you don't see, units, dimstyle, textstyle, layering linetypes, layouts page setups, snap, grid, ltscale, etc. ![]() ![]() How do I save this to my "Template File"?īruceFirst of all, templates are a lot more sacred document than what is implied here. I do not want this new block to default as the primary drawing form, only need it periodically. I have managed to get all the way through but cannot figure out "save" the title-block as a new "dwt" file, maintain all my changes and have the title-block appear with blanks in the header. I use a copy function, then explode so I can remove the logo and change the company name. Our drawing template title-block has all attributes defaulted to blank. ![]()
